Legal Advice For A Variety Of Situations

Bowles & Co help clients facing civil litigation understand their position and the options open to them. We're noted for our objective and realistic assessment of cases.
Anyone can find themselves in the position of being required to defend themselves from civil litigation or needing to take legal action against someone else in a civil or legal dispute.

Litigation is a complex area of law which is subject to constant change. The protocols and procedures involved and the legal jargon used can seem impenetrable and confusing. This is where we fit in.

Our experienced litigation solicitors have a track record of achieving successful outcomes on behalf of clients. We'll be upfront and honest with you from the start.

We'll provide an objective and realistic assessment of your case and advise you on the best way forward. If we feel you have a strong claim, then we'll pursue it vigorously on your behalf. However, if we feel that your case lacks substance, we'll let you know and explain our reasoning. For instance, there would be little point in pursuing a claim if your opponent lacks the means to pay.

Armed with this information, you can make an informed decision and we can help you bring matters to a conclusion as quickly as possible.

If your case goes to court

If a solution can't be found through negotiation or through the more formal process of mediation, then the case may need to go to Court. If that happens, we'll make sure that you are fully briefed on the risks and uncertainties involved.

Our team is very experienced in bringing claims to the County Court, the Tribunals and the High Court. We can also help you prepare your case for the Small Claims Court rather than representing you throughout, providing you with a cost-effective way of pursuing your claim.
